Salut les gens,

Encore un truc cassé après une Maj...

Impossible donc de démarrer LightDm. J’ai donc farfouillé et tenté plusieurs choses sans succès:

1.Restart x. On dirait que ça va marcher... mais ça reste bloqué.

2.Désactiver et réactiver/relancer le service. Ça ne marche pas.

3.Modifier lightdm.conf comme suggéré dans le forum anglophone. Là aussi ça foire.


Qui peut m’aider? J’ai le covid là et la tête marche moins bien avec la fièvre...

Bonjour.
Pour LightDm, il suffit parfois de se connecter en TTY (Hors session graphique) et de lancer startxfce4.
Pour le COVID, je ne donnerais pas de recettes, si ce n'est que la fièvre est ton alliée :café:

Merci mais je suis sous MATE. J’avais dû changer de Greeter déjà à cause d’une maj foireuse...

Tente un => CTRL+ALT+F2

puis

systemctl status lightdm
Vois les informations données sinon :

lightdm --test-mode --debug
Fais un retour des erreurs

Sinon dans l'ordre :

pacman -S lightdm-gtk-greeter

systemctl enable lightdm

systemctl reboot

J’ai installé et activé lightdm-gtk-greeter et après reboot le problème n’a pas bougé.

Salut

Ton souci est similaire à celui-ci

En clair et en français dans ton fichier de configuration : /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf il ne trouve pas le bon "greeter".
edit le et ajoute le bon et cela devrait solutionner ton ennui.

Fais une édition de ton fichier ici au cas échéant.

Sans oublier ceci :

sudo lightdm –-test-mode --debug

Je pense que ton erreur est là :

+ tu n'as pas d'autologin.

CRTL + ALT + F2

Tu édites ton fichier et tu fais la modification. Cela devrait aller ensuite ... enfin j'espère pour toi. J'entends par là de mettre le correct greeter que tu as choisis.

C’est vrai que j’ai tenté de réinstaller le greeter il y a 1h sans modifier cette ligne du fichier.

Ligne modifiée, aucun changement après reboot....

Ta carte graphique ? Nvidia ? ... tu utilises "plymouth" ou tu as essayé de l'installer ?

Euh oui c’est une Nvidia mais je ne sais pas ce que c’est Plymouth.

En revanche j’avais installé Optimus manager.

On verra ensuite si souci avec Nvidia, ce qui est aussi possible. En revanche, je ne sais pas pour optimus manager.

Je crois qu'il faut utiliser la commande mate-session, pour lancer Mate.

J’ai modifié la ligne autologin de false à true. J’ai également corrigé le fichier xinitrc qui contenait une commande startdde du temps où j’avais deepin installé. Je peux désormais lancer X et accéder à l’OS. Ça progresse!
