Absence de son après installation de Manjaro XFCE

Bonjour,

Plutôt débutant sous Linux, je viens d'installer Manjaro XFCE en dual boot avec mon Linux Mint 21.1.

Mais... pas de son... alors que cela fonctionne sous Mint.
J'ai contourné le problème en mettant une petite enceinte bluetooth qui fait le job.

Pourriez-vous m'aider à résoudre ce problème de son ? En même temps, ça me permettra de me familiariser avec Manjaro.

Bonjour.
Dans alsamixer, il faut taper F6 pour avoir accès aux contrôles. En ba s de chaque potard, il y a 00 donc actif ou MM inactif. En navigant avec les flèches de clavier et la touche M, on peux activer/désactiver une voie.
Regarde aussi dans pavucontrol à l'onglet configuration que tu n'aies pas un profil éteint.

Curieux que ta carte physique ne soit pas reconnue...
Que dit cat /proc/asound/cards ?

Si ta carte n'est pas listée, il faudra regarder du côté du pilote. Compare lsmod |grep audio avec le retour sous Mint. A voir aussi avec une live session de Manjaro pour voir si tu as du son. Dans ce cas, ça pourrait venir d'une mauvaise configuration . C'est parfois le cas quand on partage un même $HOME avec une autre distribution.

Si ta carte est listée, on peut la charger par défaut.
Je me suis concocté un fichier caché .asoundrc pour que le serveur Pipewire sélectionne automatiquement ma carte choisie dans la liste, en l’occurrence ma carte HDA-Créative N°1:

Bon, les pilotes (modules) sont identiques et apparemment chargés sur les deux distros. Donc je pense que le souci vient du firmware.
Quelle est ta version de linux-firmware ? pacman -Q linux-firmware

J'ai une version plus récente, mais je suis en testing.
Essaye ça :

mkdir -p linux-firmware
cd linux-firmware/

sudo pacman -U linux-firmware-qcom-20230210.bf4115c-1-any.pkg.tar.zst
Jamais essayé comme ça, mais tu devrais avoir la version testing de linux-firmware.
Sinon tu peux aussi essayer de passer en testing et de mettre tout à jour.

J'obtiens ce résultat :

erreur : la validation de la transaction a échoué (conflit de fichiers )
linux-firmware-qcom : /usr/share/licenses/linux-firmware/LICENSE.qcom_yamato est déjà présent dans le système de fichiers (appartenant à linux-firmware)
Des erreurs se sont produites, aucun paquet n’a été mis à jour.
Comment passer en version de testing ?

Il faut éditer /etc/pacman-mirrors.conf:

sudo nano /etc/pacman-mirrors.conf
Avec les flèches du clavier, aller jusqu'à la fin de la ligne Branch = stable et remplacer comme ceci Branch = testing.
Ctrl+X pour sortir du mode d'édition, la lettre O pour confirmer.

Ensuite:

sudo pacman-mirrors --geoip
sudo pacman -Syyu

Je sèche... Je n'ai jamais vu ce cas. As tu le paquet dkms ?
Si non, installe le puis :

sudo dkms autoinstall
sudo mkinitcpio -P
sudo mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
reboot
L'idée est de reconstruire les images de boot en y incluant le module audio dynamiquement intégré.

Edit: Il est possible de booter sur la version fallback depuis le menu de grub qui embarque nativement plus de modules. (Autres options pour ManjaroLinux)
Si c'est bon, tu refais les commandes si dessus sauf dkms puis tu reboot sur le kernel normal.

Je profite d'une petite pose.
La bonne commande était grub-mkconfig. Je ne sais pas pourquoi une partie du texte a été effacé. Pas grave, tu as pu rebooter. Lance quand même un sudo update-grub qui est un alias de grub-mkconfig.
Si tu n'as toujours pas de carte reconnue avec le noyau fallback, ça confirme qu'on a un souci de firmware.
As tu bien installé sof-firmware et sof-tool?

Malheureusement, la procédure n'a pas fonctionné. La carte son n'est pas reconnue.
As tu bien installé sof-firmware et sof-tool?
Il manquait sof-tool que j'ai installé avant de mener la manipulation précédente.

Si ça ne marche pas avec pipewire , essaye avec pulse audio .
